According to the studies available (the more recent was carried out in 2018 with the participation of K.Y.A.D.A.) 353 homeless people have been recorded on the streets of Athens.
Seven major Greek cities took part in the 2018 survey in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Panteion University. A total of 790 homeless people was recorded, including the people who live in homeless’ hostels, supported apartments and people living in unsuitable buildings.
The City of Athens Reception and Solidarity Centre aims to carry out a new study soon, so as to make up the city’s official map of homelessness.
